The 2014 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) has a dark crimson hue with very good saturation and no signs of aging. This vintage is open aromatically right now, with herbaceous sage giving way to dark plum and black cherry aromas. It has an above average attack but is a slightly lighter vintage than those preceding and following it. This wine has an acid-driven mid-palate and tactile tannin structure. No sediment noted. Enjoy now through 2041.
