We don't question the caterpillar when it goes into its cocoon, nor the process it undergoes inside, the mess, the muck, the goo. So it can be transformed and renewed. Yet, the same process a human in the midst of transformation isn't given the same grace, the forgiveness of messiness, the understanding for the muck and goo that emerges as old parts of ourselves are burned away so that we might be reborn. We choose to be reborn by that inner drive to be who we came here on earth to be. It's in divine timing and ultimately results in the most beautiful co-creation with God. Stunning colors, glittering with gold never before seen by human eyes.
My peace I give to you, my peace I leave with you, not the world's peace, but my peace. A peace that runneth over and surpasses all understanding.
Grief needs to be fully felt to be fully released, forgiven does not equal forgotten. Forgiveness of ourselves for the times we did not meet life at our highest and best, and forgiveness of life itself, for loss, for change, for the crumbling of the old and the building of the new. Letting go leads to freedom and the Art of Peace."
