Where will the event be held?
The event will be held at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Please use the G Street entrance (the address for your GPS is 440 G Street NW, Washington, DC).
What is the dress code?
Dress is business or "festive" attire. Men are typically in suits; women are typically in suits or a knee-length dress.
Is valet available?
Yes, valet is available at the National Building Museum at a rate of $20 per car. Please use the G Street entrance (the address for your GPS is 440 G Street NW, Washington, DC).

Will the event be livestreamed?
No, this year's Capital Conservation Awards Dinner will not be livestreamed.
How do I participate in the online silent auction?
The TRCP's exciting online silent auction is open for bidding and will close at 8:30pm ET on April 24. Click here to view the auction. Registration is easy: just click Sign In or Register in the top right-hand corner of this page. From there, click "Register" and follow the prompted directions.
How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy check out. When the auction closes, you'll get a text message with instructions on how to remit payment. If you prefer to pay by check to avoid credit card processing fees, please reach out to Rees Wilson at [email protected] for information on how to send in your payment.
How do I retrieve or arrange my auction item/experience?
TRCP staff will contact you following the auction with all the pertinent information you need to know for next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox! Shipping charges may apply.
How can I share the auction with my friends?
Direct friends and family to www.trcp.org/ccad2024 so they can register and bid online.
Is there a sweepstakes?
Yes! There will be some great items up for grabs in our sweepstakes, including a grand prize of a Spring 2025 turkey hunt with MeatEater's Steve Rinella and Janis Putelis in either Michigan or Colorado (based on availability). The entry period for the sweepstakes runs from March 13 to April 24, 2024, and is open to all U.S. residents over the age of 18.
Is there a live auction?
There will not be a live auction this year.
What do funds raised at this event support?
All proceeds from the Capital Conservation Awards Dinner support the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of guaranteeing all Americans quality places to hunt and fish. To learn more about TRCP, visit www.trcp.org.
