Its aggressive behavior, fast runs, impressive strength, and brave fighting - frequently going airborne in the attempt to loosen itself from the hook, make this species a must-fish for anglers.

From the stream to table, the San Javier Lodge is an unmatched destination. Spacious and comfortable, this beautiful Estancia built in the 19th Century style is equipped with spacious rooms and private bathrooms. The Estancia is located in north Santa Fe province, close to the Paranai River.

Two days of guided bonefish fishing with a two-night stay at Pelican Bay Resort in the Bahamas for you and one guest.

The island of Grand Bahama stretches 90 miles east to west, and the north shore's vast area of creeks, cays, and flats create hundreds of miles of shallow, untouched, fishable shoreline. The bottom structure varies from hard sand and grass flats to harder, light coral and marl flats, providing excellent feeding habitats for bonefish and permit.

This private waterfront resort sits adjacent to both the white sands of Lucaya beach and Count Bassie Square, offering a wide selection of restaurants, bars, duty-free shopping, dancing, golf, tennis, water sports, and evening entertainment.

The winner is responsible for transportation to Freeport, Grand Bahama, where they will be picked up from the airport and taken to Pelican Bay Resort. For fishing days lunch, soft drinks, and water will be provided. Gear can be provided if needed.

The frames are made using spalt maple, also called ambrosia maple. The natural dark blue-green color rippling in the wood grain is the result of insect damage while the tree was developing (wood is kiln dried, so no insects now.) In addition to the unique wood, the frames are constructed using historic mortise and tenon drawbore joinery, finished with traditional hand tools. The drawbore pins are hand-cut walnut dowels. The finish is a food-safe oil and wax designed to highlight the unique natural wood colors.
