An absolute labor of love! The process of making such an intricately exquisite wreath takes an immense amount of time. The frame is tediously hand sewn together while selected colors and types of succulents are carefully chosen and cut. Cuttings are carefully inserted one-by-one into the soil stuffed wreath body months ahead of time to insure establishment. Each wreath incorporates thousands of succulents and dozens of man hours but well worth the effort!

The wreath is of quality wire frame construction with a sewn in thick outdoor felt liner from Kinsman Garden.

One of the most unusual and desirable plants in the world. Also known as the Old Man Palm, this Cuban thatch palm produces a superabundance of fiber filaments strangely resembling aged hair of an unkempt old man. Slow growing but can eventually grow 10+ feet tall while retaining "beard" all the way to the ground. This plant was grown in full sun but best to grow in light shade so leaf petioles (stems) grow long opening the view to the marvelously hairy trunk.

Amherstia nobilis, also known as the Pride of Burma is a tropical tree with large, showy flowers. Considered "The World's Most Beautiful Flowering Tree" and one of the rarest! A small to moderate sized "Royal Poinciana" relative with dangling chains of salmon-scarlet blooms with orange and yellow lips in late winter. New "weeping" growth hangs like burgundy handkerchiefs.

South Florida is the only locale in the continental U.S. where this tree can grow outside. Choose a sheltered site out of cold NE winter winds. Best in part to full sun and routine irrigation.

Bucida buceras, also known as the Shady Lady tree, is an evergreen tree with lush layers of tiny leaves on zigzagged stems, making it is one of the most beautiful South Florida trees.

The Shady Lady's flowers are borne on long slender spikes, with creamy or yellowish blooms. urn-shaped, and about .25 inches wide. Although, the flowers are not showy, they are fragrant and attractive to bees.
