Calling all students interested in the medical field - spend the morning with Nurse Lisa and learn more about the field! Your Pleasantdale elementary school student will spend 2.5 hours learning basic first aid and assembling a first aid kit for them to take home; training on how to use an aed, epi pen and inhaler, and teaching them how to use crutches, splinting injuries, and checking out real x rays! There's more! Your budding allied professional will leave with a goody bag of supplies (splints, training devices, cool band aids, ace wrap tape etc) to practice what they have learned at home!

Your student will spend 2.5 hours learning basic first aid and assembling a first aid kit for them to take home; helping teach CPR to 8th grade health classes; training on how to use an aed, epi pen and inhaler, and teaching them how to use crutches, splinting injuries, and checking out real x rays! Your student will also help with attendance ie using intercom to call in rooms. There's more! Your budding allied professional will leave with a goody bag of supplies (splints, training devices, cool band aids, ace wrap tape etc) to practice what they have learned at home!
