Fused Glass Workshop

with Ms Zill & Mrs. VanHouten!

Glass Fusing is a process where individual pieces of glass are joined together with heat in a kiln, like baking. Ms. Zill will teach you about glass safety and procedures and students will follow the steps below to make some awesome glass art.

How does that work?

It's like making a pizza.
Step 1: Pick out a base piece. This is your pizza crust.
Step 2: Place glass of different shapes, sizes and colors on your base piece. These are your pizza toppings.
Step 3: We bake your pizza, aka, your project. This takes 15+ hours.
Voila - you have beautiful magnets or pendants to display!
