Ronald McDonald House volunteer, Debbie Plackitt, says her new twin granddaughters are the inspiration for her chair. The family calls Patricia and Margery "bun buns!"
Debbie only found out about the availability of a chair one week ago but she was so excited to put her love of art to work. "I immediately thought ab bout my grandchildren and wanted to do something in their honor. The twins always have to be touching each other so I thought, 2 bunnies doing bunny nose kisses! The back of the chair has 3 flowers, one for each of my 3 granddaughters, all the same shape (as the girls look identical) but each their own style!
Debbie lived in Loma Linda California and volunteered at the House there. When she moved back to Amarillo she was so pleased to be able to volunteer at our House. Debbie loves helping people and know personally how the families feel as her twins were in the hospital for a little over two weeks.
