June Oliver created her chair around the idea that everyone is different! She and her Dad, Bryan Oliver, collaborated on a chair 5 years ago thanks to Judy Rogers. June wanted to paint her own chair this year to help serve the families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House. June shared that she had a hazardous experience with her chair when her shirt went straight across the hand painted checkerboard seat! She quickly recovered and said she had so much fun watching Barbie at Judy Roger's studio while she created her masterpiece!

Winn Rogers really wanted a happy, summery chair that's cute and looks good enough to eat!

Winn says: "I was trying to be careful, but then I accidentally splattered the pink paint everywhere!

Winn had so much fun getting to paint her chair with her grandma, Judy Rogers.

Winn wants to help the families at the Ronald McDonald House because her family has been a part of the Chair Affair for a while now. (Longer than she has been alive!)

Sarah and Lauren Torres are both "Swifties"! "All eyes are on Taylor Swift with her Eras Tour, so it was an easy decision that we would do a Taylor Swift theme. We could't decide on what album we loved the most so we added them all! Lauren loves to paitn and was excited to join with me to redesign our chair"

It was fun for them to experiment with the different colors and techniques to come up with so many different sides and add fun touches to each "album". Some sides were painted over many times until they found just the right color!

"Spending time with 10 year old Lauren was fun and I know that moments like this won't last forever. We spent an entire day at Judy's studio painting, listening to ur favorite Taylor Swift sons and creating art together. Lauren made each bracelet to go with the chair of her favorite song from each album."

Sarah also says: "A very close friend was pregnant with their second child who had complications at birth and her sweet bay girl had to be airlifted to Lubbock. Their baby spent several months in the NICU and the Ronald McDonald House in Lubbock became a second home for them so they cold be close to their newborn and make all the visiting times. The RMH allowed them to focus on what was most important during those first days and weeks when their baby was so critical and not have to travel several hours back and forth each day. I am so thankful that we have such a great organization and all the wonderful love and support that they give parents who are fighting a battle that no one should have to fight."
