Native Mississippian (Tupelo area) I moved to San Antonio this summer with my fiancé and son. Each of my pieces are completed by me from start to finish. I cut out the design, sand, prime, paint and make the bows and attach any greenery. I do custom orders and I sell on Etsy and hope to go to some local markets and craft fairs in the coming months. I also do other types of crafts such as crochet macrame and card making
"As an artist, my goal is to share with you my passion, creativity & inspiration through each one of my creations" My pieces are 'Creations Emerging from my Soul'. 'Returning to clay, has been my escape & relief button'

Earth tones ( Yellow and browns)
Glaf has only been experimenting with this acrylic pour method for a few years. After his retirement as a pharmacist (31 years) he decided to utilize acrylic pouring techniques on canvas, glass, wood blocks, tile and glass vases. No two are alike, each one is unique in color pattern and texture. Glaf is meticulous about his work so some pieces had to be redone several times. Due to his love for fishing and the outdoors, he gets his inspiration from nature. Yolanda, his wife, a retired counselor/art teacher is his biggest art critic and biggest fan of his beautiful artwork. She is the one who will post listings on Etsy and manage the site.

Ceramic Tiny House. This little sculpture is influenced by Modernist architecture ideas. Simple geometric forms combine to form a concise unified sculptural work. The sculpture is handbuilt using slab and pinch techniques. It is finished with an acrylic paint patina to present an aged look. (SA)
In 2018, Lydia began making earrings for herself out of wood, hand-painting each piece with vibrant and playful designs. The compliments she received on her unique creations inspired her to try selling them at local weekend markets in Miami, and the rest is history! Since our humble beginnings, Le Chic Miami has grown into a team of four talented artists based in San Antonio, TX. We strive to design and hand-paint distinctive wooden earrings that brighten your day. We take pride in creating unique, eye-catching pieces that reflect your individuality and help you stand out from the crowd.

In the summer of 2019 I took a pottery class with two close friends. I enjoy house plants and my goal was to make some cool planters. I was in love from the start. It has been an adventure of learning and creativity! I hope you enjoy my various functional items for home or work. I love what I do and I hope that love comes through in my art and into your space.

Can you make this for me? Was a simple question I asked to my husband, Tim, in 2016. He thought about it and said he would try. We did not know it then but this was the beginning of Dusty Square Designs. I am his wife Victoria and I had wanted him to make me a wall art piece I had seen on a fancy and expensive website. I can't even quite remember what it looked like anymore but that's not important. What is important is that Tim liked making it. Tim has always been good at putting things together but because of work and family responsibilities, he had never tried to creatively make anything. Tim began making other wall art pieces and we started selling them at markets and online. Tim and I are the owners of Dusty Square Designs. He creates and makes all the wonderful pieces we sell. Our oldest son now helps to make the pieces and I help with the other not as glamorous office stuff. We have learned so much, met other great makers, and are excited to see how this business grows and where it can take us. Our current favorite saying is that the Dream is free but the Hustle is sold separately. We have decided that this dream is definitely worth the hustle.

As an artist and designer, I create colorful, happy art - sometimes traditionally, using acrylic and mixed media, and other times digitally, using my iPad or camera. Some highlights of my career include winning the 2017 FIESTA FIESTA poster contest where my design was featured on posters, t-shirts, medals, and even VIA buses! As a vendor at USAA I had the opportunity to show and sell my artwork and specialized in creating fun pet portraits. I am currently working on creating a line of wearable art. I am proud to have been invited to create a bowl for auction at the Empty Bowls fundraiser which benefits such a worthy cause.

Artist: Paul Garro
Paul Garro's education and personal formation called him to be a servant-leader. His life's work has been a journey towards that fulfillment. Three formative highlights amplify this vocation. First, teaching and living in East St. Louis, IL which is a city described by Jonathon Kozol in his book "Savage Inequalities" as a city so poor and devastated, it represents America's Soweto. Second, nurturing and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities: children with AIDS; victims of child abuse and multi-handicapped children. And lastly, participating in the Rotary Club of San Antonio, where prominent businessmen and women choose to serve our community in a collective effort to make a positive impact in the human condition.
