About DARTS:
Since 1974, DARTS has been empowering older adults and their caregivers in the southeast metro. Our mission is to create connections that enrich aging. We provide healthy-aging solutions, including transportation, indoor and outdoor chore assistance, home repairs, caregiver support, tech support, and resource navigation. These much-needed services help older adults maintain their independence and live in the home of their choice for as long as possible. In 2023, DARTS began an initiative for intentional expansion of outreach within the older Latine and LGBTQ+ communities. This work is supported in part through a grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services Grants, Equity, Access, and Research Division.
About Rainbow Health:
For nearly 40 years Rainbow Health has been advocating for and serving the LGBTQ+ community, those living with HIV, and all folks facing barriers to equitable healthcare. Since our formation through the Minnesota AIDS Project and Rainbow Health Initiative merger-and later the acquisition of Training to Serve-we have continued to grow and identify new ways to commit to our mission. We are dedicated to working for equitable health care access and outcomes for people who experience injustice at the intersection of health status and identity. We center individuals and communities at risk of and living with HIV or facing barriers to equitable health care access and outcomes because of their identity as gender, sexual, and/or racial minorities.
