Hello Baggers!

We are so excited that you will be joining us on Saturday for Heart of the City's 2nd Annual Swish Bags Tournament! Thank you for supporting underserved student athletes. All money raised at the event goes directly towards empowering youth on the field and off with soccer and youth development programs that help them learn valuable life skills and access needed resources and tools to have a brighter future!

If you joined us last year, you know you are in for a day of fun, food, and laughs! If you are new this year, get ready for lots of bags, raffles, and fun!

A few things to keep in mind for Saturday:

o   Lincolnshire Marriott Resort is located at 10 Mariott Drive in Lincolnshire. Halfway down Marriott Drive, make a left when you see the sign pointing towards the hotel entrance. Do not go to the Theatre entrance. You will park in the hotel lot and enter through the Hotel Lobby and follow the signs to the Grand Marquee.

o   Registration is from 9:00 to 9:45 am. We recommend you arrive by 9:30am to get a drink, some food, and have a few practice throws!

o   Games Start PROMPTLY at 10 am: if your team is not present and registered before Start Time, your first game may be forfeited

The bar takes CASH ONLY. Unfortunately, you cannot use credit cards to buy drinks. Soda, beer, wine, and a selection of mixed drinks are available. There are 2 ATMs on site (Lobby, Theatre), but we recommend you bring your own cash.
 

o   Best Team Name Competition: if you haven't submitted your Team Name yet please do so by 5 pm Friday at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5DCFVYJ

o   Best Team Spirit Competition: custom T-shirts, wigs, socks, you name it - come ready! Our Bags Committee members will choose a team winner.

o   Raffles: we will be selling tickets for Raffle prizes and a 50/50 cash raffle during the event. Will you be a lucky one?
