About Jane Filer

Chapel Hill artist, Jane Filer, taught drawing and painting at The ArtsCenter for 21 years.
Jane's work has been included in numerous prestigious collections in international, corporate and private sectors. Included among these are various American Embassies, hospitals, museums and airports.

About the Artist

Ryan Young is an artist and ceramicist from Cary, NC. She has been instructing youth, teen, and adult art and ceramics classes since 2020. Ryan also owns her own pottery business where she focuses on creating modern wheel thrown and hand-built ceramics. She uses a variety of techniques, including sgraffito and carving, to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art and loves sharing her knowledge of art and ceramics with her students. Ryan is the Ceramics Studio Specialist at the ArtsCenter, an instructor in our ArtSchool program, and an instructor in our kids' AfterSchool program.
