George Foreman won Olympic gold in 1968 and powered through boxing's heavyweight division to become world champion in 1973. He returned to the ring after a 10-year hiatus and amazingly became world champion a second time at age 45. No doubt, you will enjoy having this George Foreman Autographed Boxing Glove as a treasured item!

When Tony Dorsett retired from the NFL after 12 seasons (1977-88), he was the league's second all-time leading rusher with 12,739 yards. Dorsett became the first player to win the Heisman Trophy, a collegiate national championship and a Super Bowl, and receive Hall of Fame enshrinement on both the college and pro levels. Dorsett was elected into both the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994. Dorsett's No. 33 Pitt jersey is retired.

- Mia Hamm was the best-known American soccer player of the 1990s. She became the youngest woman ever to make the U.S. national team when she joined the squad at age 15 in 1987. With Hamm as its star, the team won gold medals at the 1996 and 2004 Olympics and claimed the 1999 World Cup championship.

Hamm's talent, good looks and an endorsement deal with Nike combined to make her a familiar face and a popular sports idol. (People magazine named her as one of its 50 Most Beautiful People in 1997.) Hamm scored her 108th international competition goal in 1998, becoming the all-time world leader. She also played for the Washington Freedom of the Women's United Soccer Association, a league which folded in 2003. Hamm graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1994 with a political science degree. She was elected to the U.S. National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007.

This day-long, 134 mile round trip with views of the Boston Mountains, trestles, and tunnel, includes a three-hour layover in historic downtown Van Buren where you can enjoy lunch in one of several local cafes, shop along Main St and enjoy the rich architecture of the historic downtown buildings.
