ABOUT THE ARTIST:

The late Mildred Sands Kratz is an American Post-War and Contemporary Artist from Pottstown, PA. She is a nationally renowned water color artist of the Great American Realist Tradition. Though largely self-taught, she studied abroad with Paul Burns in Greece and Portugal, and was deeply moved and inspired by the effects of time on the old stucco and ancient architecture. The winner of more than 100 awards, her works are studied and sought after to this day.
