The hat comes with 3 different pompoms and a yarn needle, so you can change the look depending on your mood or occasion! The pattern for this hat is based on oneby Lisa McFetridge called "Love Is. A Hat for Orlando" which she designed as a tribute to the victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting (available on Ravelry, along with my modification).

Artist Statement:
I grew up in a time/place where being gay was scandalous. I watched friends and family suffer both in the closet and out. Now, many years later, I strive to create a space of love, respect, and tolerance. I'm inspired daily by my own children and the teens I teach. "I know if we try we can really make a difference in this world...I believe we can."
