Styled as an Ace playing card, this quilt celebrates the asexual community. The front of the card features ace and cake symbology in the colors of the Asexual Pride flag, on a background of glow-in-the-dark dinosaur fabric. The back of the card is a full-size Asexual Pride flag, quilted with secret messages and symbols. This is a 'napping size' quilt, suitable for (platonic!) cuddles on the couch or wall display.

Artist Statement:

In a culture obsessed with sex and romance, it's easy for asexual people to feel left out. Even in LGBTQ+ communities, asexual people's experiences are denied, minimized and excluded. Some asexual people have found community online, developing memes, inside jokes and symbols to support each other in their shared experiences. With this quilt, I hope to bring one of those feelings of community into daily life, affirming the joy and validity of the Ace experience.
