Originally called the Bing Crosby National Pro-Amateur, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour that developed from Bing Crosby's wish to give amateur golfers a chance to play with professionals during the winter to tackle the 72-hole course and make a difference for charities supported by Monterey Peninsula Foundation. Because of this format, the National Pro-Am presents a unique golf tournament that has included notable celebrities, such as Bill Murray, Kevin Costner, Tom Brady, and George Lopez.
