A "Behind the Velvet Rope" private tour of the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, including the newly opened and restored Japanese Heritage Shoya House. Built during the Edo period in Japan, the restored home and agricultural compound provides a window into rural life. The compound includes a reconstructed garden, rice patties, irrigation canal, gatehouse, courtyard, and the main house reminding us of the importance of living sustainably with nature.
