Ryan's 10-Year Cancer-Free Celebration

In 2006, 95.3 The Bull's Ryan Sartori was diagnosed with leukemia. He was just nine years old. Ryan and his family spent 2.5 years at Children's Memorial in Chicago while he received treatment that saved his life. After 5 years in remission, Ryan was declared cancer free in 2013.

Friday, July 7th, 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the end Ryan's successful battle with cancer, and to celebrate he wants to give back to an organization that helped him through his entire battle.

Camp One Step is an organization that runs programs for kids who are battling cancer and their families. Camp is a place for kids to be kids without worrying about the outside stressors that are impacting their lives. For Ryan, this is where he met life-long friends and a support system that would help him face all of the difficulties associated with fighting cancer.

The best part about camp is that it comes at no cost to camper families.

It does cost about $1,000 to send one kid to camp and ensure they don't have to battle cancer alone. To celebrate his decade of cancer-free living, Ryan and 95.3 The Bull would love to be able to send a child to camp. Please consider donating to help us reach our goal of $1,000 for Ryan's 10-Year Cancer Free Celebration.
