Natalie's Guided Beach Walk

Explore the wonders of low-tide with TCC's resident volunteer beach naturalist Natalie. We'll get up close and personal with common intertidal critters like anemones, sea cucumbers, and limpets, and be on the hunt for more elusive animals like moon snails and sea slugs.

Bring up to 5 family members or friends of all ages for up to 2.5 hours of summer fun! Together we'll select a Seattle beach and low-tide event that works for everyone. Popular beach options include Golden Gardens and Lincoln Park, and good day-time low tides occur between May and August.

Mapes and We Are Puget Sound: Discovering & Recovering the Salish Sea (a co-publication with Washington Conservation Action, and currently a multimedia exhibit on display at The Burke Museum until the end of 2023). Orcas Island House: Gorgeous Week-long Retreat for 8

Back by popular request, enjoy a weeklong stay on Orcas Island at this lovely home with sweeping water views, a cozy firepit, and lodging for your friends and family. Part of a 140-acre land trust, the house is located at Foster Point, the southernmost point on Orcas Island.

The home can comfortably host 8 people, with a large main suite, guest bedroom, kids' bedroom, and sleeper sofa in the den. There is a spacious kitchen with luxury appliances and a living room with a fireplace. Enjoy the large deck complete with a grill, hot tub, and fire pit while taking in 180 degree views of Blakely, Lopez and Shaw Islands.

Kayak Tour for 4 with Puget Soundkeeper

Do good while having fun! Bring yourself and 3 of your friends and join Puget Soundkeeper for a Lake Union Kayak Cleanup in 2024. During the patrol, you will help Soundkeeper staff monitor marine pollution and remove debris from our waterways.

Participants do not need any prior kayaking experience and will be provided with all necessary equipment. We will meet at the Northwest Outdoor Center on Lake Union. After receiving a safety overview, participants and Puget Soundkeeper staff will then paddle to a designated area of Lake Union to get to work! Kayak

Patrols for 2024 begin in February and will need to be booked at least 1 month prior. Puget Soundkeeper staff to discuss dates with winner when redeemed.
