Pearl Diver by Klara Glosova
$200Gorgeous, Evocative Pearl Diver Print to Celebrate TCC's Pearl Anniversary
What could be a more fitting way to celebrate TCC's 30th "pearl" anniversary than this lusciously hued print of a pearl diver? Divers #27 is part of Koplin Del Rio Gallery's recent exhibition Diving into the Wreck by Czech born, Seattle-based artist Klara Glosova.
Diving Into the Wreck is centered around water, the body and the subconscious. The atmosphere ranges from cool depths, darkness & solitude, to weightless suspension & a surfacing towards light. At the bottom of the sea, in tranquil salty solitude, the artist locates richness in contrast to destruction and uninhabitability at the surface. In this print, the viewer may recognize the familiar insulation of being held by water in all its serene yet churning life force, the intimacy of humans and nature in harmonious states.
Print information: Divers #27, 2018, monotype on paper, 15 in x 11 unframed.
