The average medical student incurs approximately $270,000 in medical school debt alone. We exist to help reduce the financial disparity in medical school education since the majority of medical students currently come from households with incomes in the top 10%.

In addition to scholarship support we hold an annual summit for our ElevateMeD scholars, this is where we bring our students to Scottsdale the weekend of our Explosion of a Dream event and they experience a weekend full of professional development workshops tailored to their personal needs. This includes coaching, sessions on wellness and finance, along with professional headshots.

Our ElevateMeD scholars receive an assessment regarding their leadership traits and are paired with an executive coach to develop both their strengths and opportunities to identify and modify their stress behaviors. Our program is more than a scholarship dispensary which makes us unique. We are developing the next generation of physician leaders.

Always part of the ElevateMeD Family, the transition to residency from Medical School is another source of significant debt. When an ElevateMeD Student graduates, we aid in that transition with a gift to help offset some of those expenses.

All students who are selected to be ElevateMeD Scholars along with those nominated have access to our password protected website where we have curated resources that are critical for them to have access to while in medical school and making the transition to residency. We have partnered with other organizations to provide these resources to continue to enhance the foundation of students in our program.
