Kiss of th Butterfly
$32020x30 Acrylic Art Piece, photograph, by Lisa Marie.
Butterflies are giving kisses to the turtle's eyes to drink their salt.
My family and I were glamping in the Amazon Basin where we sloshed through 3 km of mud to get to Lake Sandoval. We were on a small boat trolling through the lake where we saw red monkeys, blue monkeys, blue macaws, Kingfishers, and otters. I spotted this scene as we were ending our tour. It was a very serene moment as we watched the beauty play out. The butterflies drink salt from the turtle's tears until the turtles have had enough and then slide back into the lake.

Face of Navajo Falls
$16020x30 Acrylic Art Piece, photograph, by Lisa Marie.
Careful observation of Navajo Falls reveals the features of a face.
This image was captured by isolating a portion of Navajo Falls that featured a man's face. Look closely at the falls using one's imagination to make out other features. Navajo Falls are the first set of falls encountered when one hikes into the land of the Supai. It has been altered when heavy rains or flooding occur. Each return trip reveals different perspectives.
