Joan Terrell studied photography at Southeastern Center for the Photographic Arts (SCPA) in Atlanta, Georgia. She contributed photos to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Gwinnett Home Weekly (now the Gwinnett Daily Post), and several other publications. She was an Inside Gwinnett magazine photo contest winner, selected as the cover artist for a Gwinnett Arts Council calendar, and The John Marlor Arts Center obtained some of her work through the Georgia Art Acquisition Program sponsored by the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia. But it was fine art photos that she most enjoyed creating and it was her interest in fine art that led her to renew her acquaintance with drawing and painting. Her artwork is available through this and other online venues.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Alea Hurst began her journey into drawing and painting in high school. She produces two-dimensional works, particularly drawings and paintings, which range from traditional to experimental and mixed media approaches. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia in Athens in 2013 and her Master of Fine Arts degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2018. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including Arch Enemy Arts, ABV Gallery, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and Mason Murer Fine Art's Fresh Blood. Her work also has been featured in multiple publications, purchased by the State Botanical Garden of Georgia and selected as the 2021 winner of Spruill Gallery's Amplify mural award. Her current work focuses on the roles of masks and reversing those roles to comment on the evolution of society.

Jessica Ballew was trained at the Art Institute of Atlanta majoring in Illustration. She is a local to Gainesville and has rebranded herself during COVID to focus on landscape art. For this project she used Vincent Van Gough and Claude Monet as her inspiration while including the Blue Ridge Mountains opposed to the traditional Starry Night. Anne Brodie Hill has been painting since the 1960's and is inspired by marine subjects in both fresh and salt water. She enjoys working in watercolor, acrylics, oils and color pencil in a realistic style, and often will start with an abstract beginning on paper and canvas.

Moving to Forsyth County, Georgia in 1995, Anne traveled by boat around Lake Lanier every weekend. From the Marina where she and her husband kept their 72-foot houseboat, Anne started a series of paintings of the Bridges of Lake Sidney Lanier, Georgia. She has designed a series of Lake Lanier Holiday cards, and a series featuring the four seasons of the Downtown Gainesville Square at different times of the city's history.

Inspired by the Pennsylvania Dutch barn paintings seen in the countryside near her hometown of Annville, Pennsylvania, Maria Mueller creates decorative folk art styled acrylic paintings. Having lived in Athens for the last six years, she is still continually intrigued by these ornate hex signs. The images seen in these designs have a connection to celebrating nature, love, prosperity and the celestial.

Maria has a background as an art educator but now enjoys creating paintings in various sizes and color palettes. She loves to create variations of the traditional hex signs on canvas as well as her own original designs. She creates commissioned paintings of various sizes and subject matter to complement her individual client's style and décor.

The whimsical, weathered and textured backgrounds she creates in her work are complimented by stylized animals, decorative geometric images and florals. Her paintings put a personal twist on a traditional art form that symbolizes love, happiness and good luck.
