Arthur Boisfontaine has been described as a self-made Renaissance man with boundless vision and an engaging sense of humor. A native of New Orleans, he is a graduate of Georgia's Riverside Military Academy. Arthur's drive and dedication to innovation has led his team through multiple hurdles while earning him numerous awards and recognition. More recently, he graced the cover of CityBusiness for "Pivoting During a Pandemic," was selected by the Louisiana Economic Development Group through the American Academy of Entrepreneurs as a mentor for the Edward Lowe Foundation, received JEDCO's Small Business of the Year Award in 2021, and after being a finalist in both 2021 and 2022, was honored as a 2023 Louisiana Growth Leader by the LED Growth Network. Outside of the office, Arthur is a devoted husband, father, and philanthropist.
Conway Bellone is an Attorney at Jackson & McPherson, LLC with a degree from University of Loyola New Orleans, College of Law and a native of New Orleans. Conway is another legacy candidate who's professional goal is to be of counsel to a bank and/or another financial institution and who in his free time enjoys long walks, running, recreational tennis, live music And even hosted a Pickleball tournament as a fundraiser in his campaign. Conway became a Visionary candidate because he knows LLS is instrumental in financing lifesaving research as well as providing support to families who are enduring incredibly difficult times. He is our youngest Of The Year candidate to date and has made quite a splash in his campaign sharing the mission of LLS throughout our community.
Dave Jordan is an award winning, national touring musician from New Orleans. A resident of Mid City, he grew up in Mandeville and attended LSU and UNO, before permanently moving to New Orleans in 1998. Dave first became involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2020, when he performed for the Leukemia Cup Regatta online event. He has been involved with numerous other charitable organizations, including Voice of the Wetlands, the Gleason Foundation, Musicares, and, most notably, the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, where for the past decade he has co-produced the annual Jamie Galloway Memorial Crawfish Boil and Block Party, raising funds for health services benefitting local musicians and culture bearers.
David Bernard spent 30 years as a broadcast meteorologist mostly in New Orleans and Miami. He was also the National Hurricane Consultant for the CBS network in New York from 2008 until 2013. Through the decades David covered nearly every major hurricane from Andrew in 1992 to Ida in 2022. He is now enrolled at Tulane University and will graduate with a Master of Social Work in 2023. David lives in New Orleans with his husband and their Boston Terrier named Dolly.
Dr. Finn received her medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Finn completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Finn is director of Ochsner Health's Hematology and Stem Cell Transplant Program. She has interests in all blood disorders with a research focus in leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. She is the deputy director of hematology for the Precision Cancer Therapies Program. Dr. Finn is involved in medical resident and fellow education as program director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program at Ochsner. Dr. Finn was selected as a member of the American Society of Hematology Advocacy Leadership Institute. Dr. Finn has a strong interest in promoting shared decision making and palliative medicine as part of her routine cancer care. She is also active in promoting health care policy changes for the fields of hematology, stem cell transplant, and cancer research through advocacy with the state and federal governments. She promotes federal support for cancer research funding and sickle cell disease policy recognition and is a 2023 Visionary to honor the patients she sees everyday.
As a former Child Life Specialist, Eugenie had extensive experience working with cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support, education and helping them navigate the difficult journey and challenges of cancer treatment. During her 7 years as Director of Child Life, she developed a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by these families and became a tireless advocate for their cause. Eugenie is currently campaigning to raise the most funds for local blood cancer survivors as part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's contest for Visionary of the Year. She is dedicated to raising the most funds during the 10-week competition and has chosen the pillar of Patient Education & Support as the focus of her team's efforts. Her goal is to ensure that all families affected by blood cancers have access to the information and resources they need to make informed decisions and to find hope in the face of this challenging disease.
Jay Batt is a 5th generation New Orleanian, who prepped at Newman locally and the Lawerceville School in New Jersey, and graduated from Tulane University with a BA in English . Jay currently is a real estate advisor with Engels and Volkers, a real estate developer with the Biltmore Property Group and retail executive. He has been happily married for 28 years to an amazing woman who "puts up with him" …. Andree Wood Batt . Together they share two wonderful talented daughters: Bailey, their eldest, a Child Life Specialist at Children's Hospital here is New Orleans and Kelly, a graphic designer with Smathers and Branson in DC. Jay became a 2023 Visionary because of my his dear friend and our Co-Chair, Pam Georges … because LLS is an extremely worthwhile cause!

Telley is a noted speaker and Hand in hand with his business acumen is his tireless philanthropy. He has is proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and he is a recipient of the Espirit De Fraternite' Award and Gambit's 40 Under 40 People to Watch. Telley is honoring the memory of his fraternity brother DARNELL, who lost his battle to a blood cancer in October 2022.
