This highly anticipated production is a collaboration with the National New Play Network, and explores the intimate struggles of mental health and readjustment after trauma.

This one person show follows a soldier returning from Afghanistan, struggling with PTSD. Through Virtual Reality Therapy, they discover the strength in vulnerability and how to cope with the scars of war. Because of the special equipment necessary for portraying VR therapy, as well as the increased rehearsal time involved with premier productions, your donation is an integral part in bringing BACKWARDS FORWARDS BACK to Kansas City.
