"I selected the subject of a passing storm because I feel many of our shelter animals have endured difficult situations. I wanted to honor their strength and courage because they survived their passing storm. I volunteer at the Southampton Animal Shelter taking dogs to the beach. I started this years ago I realized how important it is to get a break, a change of scenery and just have a day of fun. Who doesn't love the beach! I have gotten so much love from these amazing animals they have given me so much more. The dogs always put a smile on my face. I am grateful to the shelter for this wonderful experience."
