Growing up in Scarsdale, Lauren took dance classes at a very young age (ballet, tap, jazz) and continued through junior high school. In high school, she competed as a nationally ranked cheerleader.
Lauren began ballroom dance lessons with her fiance Benji, an uncle to seven nieces and nephews, including two with diagnosed disabilities, in November 2022. The couple has found it to be such a joy discovering a new hobby together and learning more about one another through dance. Lauren appreciates that Benji is the one who remembers all of the dance moves they have learned at Fred Astaire! "He is a great coach and teacher whenever Lauren misses a step." The couple will be married in June.
