Amy Farber has always had a passion for blending artistry and competition. As a competitive figure skater and GHS ice hockey player growing up in town, Amy volunteered with the Greenwich Special Olympics ice skating program for 7+ years, where she initially had the opportunity to work with many Abilis program participants. She continued supporting people with special needs throughout her adult life in various volunteer activities at Hamilton College, in Washington, DC, at Northwestern University during business school, and most recently while living in Boston, Mass. Professionally, Amy spent many years at Deloitte Consulting and currently serves as Educate 360's Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer. Amy joined the Board of Abilis this year and is actively supporting the organization's strategic planning efforts.
Amy relocated back to Greenwich last year, where she currently lives in Glenville with her husband, Jon (a lifelong Bills fan), and their 2-year-old, redheaded daughter, Zoe, who attends Children's Day School at the Western Civic Center.

Elmar began ballroom dancing in Germany at the age of 7, and through the years successfully competed in many Regional, National and International competitions. Upon completion of the extensive German training to become a certified dance instructor, he was immediately offered a position as Assistant Manager and Dance Instructor at one of the largest German dancing schools in Munich, Germany.
In January 2007, Elmar joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios as an owner and Director of the Brookfield, CT location and with the success of that studio He and his wife opened a second studio in Greenwich where he continues to pursue his passion for dancing. Under his direction and instruction, the Greenwich Fred Astaire Dance Studio's students and certified instructors have won top placements in competitions and enjoy the magic of dance.
