Do you have a budding fashion designer or artist at home? This collab will be the perfect opportunity for your emerging designer.

House of Wallace is a unique Atlanta boutique that caters to your "hard to shop for" teen or tween. The talented Ashley Wallace, owner of House of Wallace, will work with your student to design a unique, one-of-a-kind Lovett-branded clothing item. The clothing piece will be featured as a back-to-school item in the Lovett store to be sold during Fall 2024.

Requirements before bidding (please read):

• Your child must be 12 or older
• The clothing item can be a sweatshirt, hoodie, t-shirt, or other variety of top, limited to one piece
• The Lovett Campus Store reserves the right of final approval on design in accordance with Lovett compliance guidelines
• Basic knowledge of Canva graphic design tool is necessary
• Ashley Wallace will meet with your child 1 - 2 times to assist in design process and can meet with your child on campus
• A deadline date for late Spring will be set in order to produce the clothing item in time for back to school sales in the fall
• A waiver will be provided, and parents must provide transportation.

WHAT IS AN EFOIL??
The eFoil was invented in late 2018 in Puerto Rico by a company called LIFT that has built hydrofoils for years. The "e" in eFoil represents its lithium ion battery built into the board that powers an electric motor with a propeller that provides propulsion. Below the drive unit, is a wing (or "foil") that provides lift. Given enough speed, the wing generates enough lift to allow the board to break free of the water and you begin to fly along effortlessly like a magic carpet ride in powder. You steer the board by standing up using your body weight and adjust your speed using a handheld wireless Bluetooth remote to control the throttle. The feeling is one of a kind.

Megan Huntz Shadow Day for a budding fashion designer!

With a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute (1999), Megan went to Milan to pursue her Masters in Fashion Design at Domus Academy in 2003. After spending nearly a decade in Europe, she took inspiration in the craft and style associated with Italian fashion. With a mantra of "local, ethical, sustainable," her line of fine clothing is entirely produced in her hometown of Atlanta.

Spend 3 hours in the Morningside studio with award-winning designer Megan Huntz. During their shadow day, the winner will learn first-hand about a career path in fashion. Megan will discuss the design process in-depth and offer guidance tailored to your student's interest. As part of the experience, Megan will offer a hand-sketching tutorial to help them bring their work to life. To top it all off, Mom gets to shop with a 15% discount!
