Artist statement:

Since the mid-2000s, my artwork has been an intentional yet spontaneous collection of international travel and snapshots of what nature and in particular wildlife in their environment has to offer. Paddle Raise Donation

Receive a custom, intimate dinner party for up to 8 people in your home, hosted by Chef Erika Varela. Chef Varela will work with you to personalize a fantastic menu for you and your guests. Do you have a special occasion to celebrate or a group of friends/co-workers that you'd like to dine with? Chef Varela and her crew will come to you to cook, serve and clean up. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your time with your guests!!

Chef Erika Varela graduated from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor's degree in Restaurant Management. After managing the dinner theater restaurant at the Marriott Lincolnshire, she went back to school to earn her teaching certificate. She has been teaching Culinary Arts at Palatine High for over 20 years and also teaches Food Prep and Production classes at Harper College.

Note: Date and menu to be mutually agreed on by the winner and Chef Varela. ***Gratuities for the servers at the dinner are not included.

Invite four of your friends/family members to enjoy a night at Barb's Precious Rescue. The evening begins at 6 pm with a guided tour of the Rescue by Barb. Your choice of sleeping arrangements includes the Teen Room, Vet Floor with the cats, or a cat free location in the attached David Helt Veterinary Care Center.

A choice of menus will be provided for your evening meal. Movie night with the cats in the Teen room will begin post dinner. You will enjoy plenty of play time with our cats.

Breakfast will be provided in the morning.

Breakfast provided by Chef Erika Varela, The menu will include:
