This year, the Palmetto Classic will benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation's youth caddie program at the Charleston Municipal Golf Course. This program, which began in 2022, was created for local young men and women who meet the financial need and outstanding academic profile of our renowned Evans Scholars Program awardees. It will give those students the opportunity to apply for the Evans Scholarship upon completion of the program, teach them valuable lessons through caddying, provide them with a summer job, and more.
