The K-3rd grades created a mixed media piece of art inspired by the poppy flower field from The Wizard of Oz. Each student dyed a coffee filter with red ink, and then sprayed the filter with water. After the flowers dried, they were cut and glued to the painted canvas to create a field of flowers.

The 4th grade class has been in an art project with Aullwood Garden Metropark, that involved the research of birds native to North America. Each student was to choose and research a bird and then create a colored pencil illustration of the bird. For the auction project we created a collage of each of the birds and decoupaged them to a piece of wood.
