The K-3rd grades created a mixed media piece of art inspired by the poppy flower field from The Wizard of Oz. Each student dyed a coffee filter with red ink, and then sprayed the filter with water. After the flowers dried, they were cut and glued to the painted canvas to create a field of flowers.

The 4th grade class has been in an art project with Aullwood Garden Metropark, that involved the research of birds native to North America. Each student was to choose and research a bird and then create a colored pencil illustration of the bird. Polish Christmas Eve Dinner for Six

This holiday season, Marta Wojcik and Kevin Rose will treat your group to an authentic homemade holiday meal at their home in the South Fountain Historic District. A traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner will feature three types of homemade pierogies, a beet soup with mushroom dumplings, baked cod and sea bass, homemade bread and a generous sampling of traditional Polish desserts. A traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner is a hearty vegetarian meal, and a number of dishes contain gluten and dairy. However, we are happy to modify recipes to accommodate our guests.
