Collectors' Night 2023
Art Endures: 60 Years of Making
Saturday, May 13, 2023.

VisArts is celebrating 60 years of art-making - it's our Diamond Anniversary!

Collectors' Night, launched in 1987, is the Visual Arts Center of Richmond's most significant annual fundraising event. The 350-person gala includes a cocktail reception, a silent auction and a seated live auction.  Proceeds from the event support VisArts' outreach programs, but altruism isn't the only reason art collectors come back to the event year after year.

The Visual Arts Center of Richmond and its contingent of guest curators work with some of Richmond's most beloved and emerging artists to bring you a lively art auction that is full of fresh pieces to add to your collection.

VisArts was founded in 1963 as the Hand Workshop with the purpose of providing a place for youth to engage in the arts and as a place for artists to learn, create and build community. For VisArts' "Diamond Anniversary" this year, we will celebrate the growth in our programs and audiences throughout Richmond and beyond over the past 60 years.
