I was born in the middle of the last century in Huntington Park, California and spent
my formative years growing up in the San Gabriel Valley. I briefly attended Azusa-
Pacific College where I was majoring in Music.
Later, after a short interlude, I trained as a chef at the Century Plaza Hotel and
worked as a chef at both the Shangri La Resort and Sheraton Hotel in Oklahoma. I
left my culinary career to give birth to my son, Sean, who was followed a few years
later by my daughter, Jackie. Both of whom are the joys of my life.
Over the years, I have had many different jobs, but finally retired in 2013 from the
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
For the last 30 years, Redlands has been my home where I live with my husband, old
what's his name, John. I enjoy long walks with my faithful companion, not John, but
Rally my dog. I also enjoy baking, travel and dabbling in interior decorating. I'm
active in a local P.E.O. chapter serving as Historian and chair of their Ways & Means.
I agreed to participate in the Symphony's fundraiser after being plied with
champagne by Rory Haden.
