Celebrate 30 Years of Claymobile with a gift of $30,000

• For 30 years Claymobile has brought quality arts education to children who need it the most.
• Claymobile serves over 6,000 students annually at one of our 105 partner sites
• Claymobile uses 13 tons of clay every year in schools, community centers, and public festivals. That is four elephants!
• Over the course of a residency, students can make up to four different projects - that's 20,000 pieces of art created each year!
• Claymobile continues to grow and bring clay into communities, with your help tonight we can set the tone for the next thirty years

• There is NO OTHER place in the city you can go to see amazing art FREE EVERY DAY. Museums are so expensive! It costs $30 to get into the PMA! and they're only open 4 days a week!

• Most other places that are free to get in are commercial galleries. We are embedded in a residential neighborhood - so people can just wander in on their evening stroll or lunch hour.

• Just like our exhibitions bring world class international artists ARTWORK into our building, our Guest Artist Program brings the ARTISTS here so they can enrich our community, students, young artists
• Gifts will allow some of the best ceramic artists in the world - like Magdalene Odundo - to come and make work in our studios, sharing knowledge with everyone

$5,000 supports Young Professional Artist as they launch their artistic careers!

• Since The Clay Studio founded in 1974, Resident Artists have been the creative engine of the organization
• The Resident Artist Program has a well-earned reputation and is highly sought after
• Residents are given a free studio space, a monthly stipend, and the support necessary to pursue their careers
• Each Resident is given a solo show in the Jill Bonovitz gallery

A gift of $2,500 allows The Clay Studio serve more kids through Claymobile

• A fully funded 7 week residency serves up to 30 kids per 90-minute session at one of Claymobile's 105 partner sites in Philadelphia
• This provides hands-on art to one of far too many of the schools the don't have a permanent arts program - music or visual in - in place.
• Every year The Clay Studio must say no to so many schools and organizations because there are not enough funds to underwrite residencies - the wait list for fully-funded residencies is long - how many can we knock off that wait list?

Help kids express themselves in a safe and creative environment after school with a gift of $1,000

• The After-School program offers elementary to high school students academic support with arts activities designed to tap into their potential
• The program impacts 83 children, every week, by providing in a safe place to come afterschool
• Children have the opportunity to get homework help and work in clay - free
• Parents and caregivers have peace of mind knowing their children are in a supportive environment during critical after school hours - free
• Over the course of a year we work with students from the hyper local schools in our community - with your $1,000 you will ensure that these children will continue to have a safe and supportive environment week after week

$500 supports scholarships to make Classes accessible to all

• We are proud to offer sliding scale tuition and scholarships so that anyone, regardless of means, can access our programs
• Last year, 63 adult scholarships were awarded.
• 21 students received a scholarship to attend Clay Camp this summer
• Our goal is to offer even more scholarships - your gift makes that possible and opens up opportunities for aspiring artists across the city

• Clay Camp gives children opportunities to express themselves and learn during the summer months
• With both half- and full-day options, the program is designed to support families
• This summer, 180 kids participated in half day Camps
• 360 kids participated in full day camps

Keep Claymobile Vans rolling around to more schools with $75

• With over 105 partner sites, the map of Claymobile is growing every day!
• Claymobile brings hands-on instruction to schools, public festivals, and community centers across the tri-state area
• Once the work is fired, Claymobile staff hand-delivers work back to the partner site to the delight of students and participants
• Filling the tanks of the vans is critical to the success of the program and keeping the mobile in Claymobile!
