Copitas y Mezcal-The workshop will take place at The Clay Studio on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Extraordinary artist George Rodriguez offers a unique experience at The Clay Studio. Join him for a two-hour hands-on lesson to make Copitas (mezcal cups) while George guides you through a mezcal tasting-after all, you'll need to find your favorite mezcal to put in your beautiful cups.
If you like smoky libations and good conversations, this one-of-a-kind offering is for you and three guests. The mezcal is graciously donated by Bozal Mezcal who distributes their spirits in beautifully crafted ceramic bottles. No experience necessary!
The top three bidders will win this auction item. Each winner can bring three guests to the workshop, for a total of 12 participants!
George Rodriguez is a Clay Studio Board member and guest artist. He was recently appointed as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Tyler's Ceramics Program, where he was previously an adjunct professor and an artist-in-residence.
