Shelby and Jessica | 2022 Gala Feature Success
Shelby and Jessica survived extensive trauma throughout their lives. Homeless, sleeping in parks and on the street, Shelby and Jessica struggled to trust anyone. When Shelby was sent to jail, Jessica found out she was pregnant and slept in her car in a Walmart parking lot until he was released. Hearing about HPC, Shelby and Jessica took the step of faith that would change their lives. With the support of the program, they have remained clean and sober. Shelby has become a mentor in Drug Court and they are raising their daughter with stable jobs while saving money for their future. Shelby and Jessica have dreams of owning a home and inspiring others who have faced similar challenges.
