Two Bottles Each:
2019 Duckhorn Napa Cabernet - Beautifully rich and complex, this wine offers enticing aromas of huckleberry jam, black cherry and cinnamon spice, with hints of bay leaf, maple and violets. The lush dark berry and sweet baking spice notes are echoed on the palate, where the flavors are framed by a firm underlying structure and fine, dusty tannins that add depth and nuance to a long, robust finish.
2017 Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve - 90pts Wine Enthusiast - Rich, lush, and structured, the 2017 vintage displays intense aromas of black currant, cassis, and crushed violet. This wine is velvety with a smooth, lingering finish of herbal notes, vanilla, and cocoa.
2016 Groth Cabernet Sauvignon - 93pts Wine Enthusiast - Sweet aromas of blackberry tart, ripe plums, and marzipan are complemented with a savory hint of toasted coriander seed. The palate opens smoothly, building to a rich, full mouthfeel - the young tannins hinting at a restrained power. A beautifully balanced acidity dances throughout - giving an undercurrent of freshness and a counterpoint to the sweetness of the new French oak, lifting the dark fruits and bringing forward ripe red berries. The finish is layered with baking spices, wild blackberries, and a hint of dried black currant.
