This series of photos was shot on site in Heber AZ of two wild young stallions fighting over a mare and her baby. At the end of the fight, the intruder was unsuccessful and both stallions
survived the dispute.
These free roaming horses are part of the Heber Wild Horses located in the Sitgreaves National Forest in AZ.
