Eastern Black Walnut (Juglans nigra) Walking Stick S/N BW46: - Wood darkens to a russet brown with age. Rated as very durable in regard to decay resistance, with good weathering characteristics. Walking stick is 1" in diameter, and 55 ¾ inches in length. It was hand created and sanded, has three coats of Danish Oil, and then 3 coats of varnish/shellac. Leather wrapped (9 ¾") and cross stitched with orange tiger thread. Bolo leather cord for lanyard.

Black Cherry (Prunus serotina) Walking Stick S/N C48: Wood is Smooth-grained, reddish-brown hardwood that is a light pink and darkens over time to a rich reddish hue with a lustrous patina. Walking stick in 1" in diameter, and 55 ¾ inches in length. It was hand created and sanded, has three coats of Danish Oil, and then 3 coats of varnish/shellac. Has red leather wrapping and cross stitched with black tiger thread. Black Bolo leather cord for lanyard.
African Paduak (Pterocarpus soyauxii) Walking Stick S/N AP40: A very strong, exotic hardwood, known for robust reddish-brown coloration that darkens with age. The wood is considered very durable and resistant to bug / insect / termite attack, which has seen it used in outdoor applications for centuries in its native Africa. King Solomon, proverbial for his wisdom in governing the Israelites during the 10th century B.C., must have known his wood. He chose stalwart padauk for the pillars of his temple. In the 17th century, French rulers Louis XV and Louis XVI also favored padauk. With it, royal woodworkers crafted cups and chalices. Walking stick is 1" in diameter, and 54 5/8" inches in length. It was hand created and sanded, has three coats of Danish Oil, and then 3 coats of varnish/shellac. Has dark brown distressed leather wrapping and cross stitched with brown tiger thread. Brown Bolo leather cord for lanyard. You will not find a walking stick like this in a store or on the internet. A true gem!

Lake Erie Driftwood Mobile: Created entirely from driftwood remnants from the Lake Erie shoreline, this natural wood sculpture is designed for outside use. Due to the fragile nature of the wood, some "limb loss" should be expected in transport or in high winds. Mobile weighs about 7-8 pounds dry but can be significantly heavier when wet. Please consider weight constraints when selecting a place to display this lovely, original piece. Item does come complete with the display chain attached, ready for hanging.
