The focus of our fund-a-need at Cornucopia this year will be Patient Assistance. This fund encompasses the myriad needs our patients have to ensure they're able to sustain themselves and their health goals and focuses on eliminating the many barriers to care that our patients must often overcome. Assistance with travel to and from appointments, access to food and basic hygiene products, and so much more that many of us take for granted on a daily basis - you can directly help Sun River Health patients take control of their health.

Sun River Health began providing free books for children at 3 Urgent Care locations in 2021. In 2022, we expanded these efforts to all health center locations. When visiting for care, or accompanying a family member, all children are invited to take a book home with them, including healthcare related books, educational materials and age-appropriate stories. Sun River Health has partnered with Scholastic to purchase books at a reduced rate as needed to ensure this program can reach the widest group of children with quality books.
