Over the past five decades, SBCC has believed in and implemented the core value that ordinary people can do extraordinary things. We believe that every person has gifts and talents that have a meaningful impact on their community. SBCC does not believe in charity. We do, however, believe in support and partnership. Throughout our 50-year history, we have worked to acquire resources without portraying our participants as helpless victims or hopelessly impoverished individuals. We have always infused our fundraising efforts with respect and admiration for our resident partners. SBCC is asking for your support for our Annual Gala celebration in the spirit of all the accomplishments of the agency and its network of community resident partners. The sponsorship of a table, item, or experience will enable us to continue to work countywide with low-income families supporting hope, resilience, well-being, and success.
