What is the gala?

The second largest fundraiser for the Foundation, and the most festive night of the year! We'll start with a cocktail hour, which is a great chance to mingle with Principal Keiper and the teachers and staff, as well as one another! We'll also have live entertainment including international opera singer and TPES parent, Alina Mullen! Then we sit down for dinner and move into the live auction portion of the evening. We'll have presentations and a cute video of the kids. Most importantly, we'll raise lots of money to support all of the important things the Foundation funds. Afterwards, we'll have plenty of time for more socializing and dancing with DJ Danny, back by popular demand!

The tickets are so expensive, why?

There are a lot of expenses with an event of this magnitude, venue fees, food, drinks, the DJ, service charges, and taxes. The ticket prices need to cover the cost of the event so that all of the fundraising goes back to the school. Funds raised support Foundation-funded teachers, enrichment programs, supplies, and so much more for our school!

What is this about an auction?

There will be live and silent auction components. In order to bid on the live auction items, such as Principal for a Day you must be present at the event. Our auctioneer this year is Sports Radio Host (former NFL player) and TPES Parent and Library Chair Rich Ohrnberger! Anyone and everyone can bid on the silent items. All proceeds go back to the Foundation to support our students!

Will there be childcare at the Y again this year?

YES, the YMCA is setting up a child watch parent's night out for us, ages 3-12. There will be a per person fee. More details to come soon! Think Pajama Gala for the kids!

Will there be a photobooth?

YES! We're very excited to have a photobooth with printouts to take home that night, it will be a fun memento.

Can I choose my seat?

If you purchase a VIP seat you can request who you sit with, otherwise it is open seating.

Will I have fun?

Absolutely! We hope to see you there! It's a night out for a very important cause!
