$50 Can help purchase a chef coat, hat and pants for 1 culinary student so they can be proud and prepared wearing a uniform

$1,000 Can help purchase food ingredients for approximately 500 meals
$3,000 Can help 5 students attend the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association's annual competition to prepare a timed meal from start to finish to be judged

Q: Do I have to purchase a ticket to the event to bid on an auction item?
A: No, you are not required to purchase a ticket to the in-person event to bid on an auction item but we would encourage you to do so to inform you on what your money will be supporting, and we promise you'll have fun!

A: You can register for the online auction in 4 easy steps.

Q: When will the auction open and close?
A: Silent auction items will open May 5, 2023 and will close during the in-person event on May 12, 2023 at approximately 8:30pm. Premier auction items will open on May 12, 2023 at 10am and will close at approximately 9:15pm.

Q: Do auction items have restrictions?
A: Please read special instructions carefully. Special instructions include but are not limited to restrictions, availability, transfer of items, and expiration dates. Vouchers and certificates have no cash value.
Q: How will I pay for the donations I have made and or the items I have won?
A: Once the Auction closes you will need to:

Review the purchase summary.
Enter a credit card or use the one on file. If you wish to pay by check/cash/money order, please contact the Ryan Wells Foundation at 727.643.6710 and we will walk you through the payment process. Select "Click Here to Pay". Once payment is completed, a Red Pay Stamp appears over your transaction
Q: How will I receive the item(s) I have won if I'm not physically at the event?
A: We will begin contacting all winners on Monday, May 15 to discuss pickup/delivery/shipping option of your item(s).
Q: How do I book a room at the Sheraton if we want to stay the night of May 12?

Q: What if there is a discrepancy on my checkout screen?
A: DO NOT complete the check out process and contact the Ryan Wells Foundation at 727.643.6710 and we will work with you to review and rectify any issues.
Q: What if I forget to check out at the end of the event?
A: You will receive a text message asking you to please finish the check out process. If you do not check out in 4 days we will process the credit card on file for your charges.
Q: Are there tax benefits to any auction item(s) I purchase?
A: If you win an auction item, you may be able to deduct the portion of your purchase price that exceeds the item's Fair Market Value (FMV). The estimated suggested tax deductible amount is calculated by subtracting the FMV from the winning bid price. All FMV are approximate. Please consult your tax advisor.
