Luci Westphal is a visual non-fiction storyteller, writer and social artist with a focus on biophilic art projects to enhance people's well-being by connecting with nature through art.

In her work as a documentary filmmaker, she aims to help people and non-profits tell their stories and express their ideas and passions - for an informed, connected, and better tomorrow.

She grew up in the beautiful landscape of the Haseldorfer Marsch near Hamburg, Germany. After film school in Florida, she lived mostly in Brooklyn, then in Berlin, and eventually in Colorado. The latest move brought Luci to St. Petersburg, on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico in Florida, where she gets easily distracted by birds.

The third installment of her decades-long documentary project All's Well and Fair is currently in post-production.

In 2022, she received a St. Pete Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant for her visual / social / biophilic art project "St. Pete Moving Still" - which had its first public exhibition in November at Westminster Suncoast - after concluding its first round of social interaction at the Nursing Center and an invitation-only event for residents, families, and staff.

Luci Westphal currently serves as the chairperson of the Historic Kenwood Artist Enclave.

Like most painters, I am inspired by the beauty of nature and exploring variations of color and light. Photography can reproduce details; I aim to express emotion and feeling through the impressions of brushstrokes.

As a Florida resident, I am in awe of the tropical beauty that surrounds us! My inspirations are not only artists like Monet and Van Gogh, but also my art students, family and friends. As a Visual Art Teacher, I am passionate about sharing my love for the Visual Arts with young creative minds. As an Artist, I love to escape to that 'Artist Zone' and forget reality and the problems of life and get lost in the color! Small treasures from around the world assembled with restless imagination by Paola Nesmith of Azucena Verde. These individually handcrafted necklaces and other small items from fibers and fabrics, charms and amulets, semiprecious stones, glass and metals, reflect a world from tribal chic to whimsical elegance.

For years, Paola Nesmith has been collecting jewels, stones and materials from around the world, but waited for the proper inspiration to begin crafting with them.

When her daughter worked in Iraq in 2006 and asked her to make her some earrings, it launched what would eventually become Azucena Verde. She uses her craft to stifle her worried mind and her unbounding nervous energy. Once Paola started, she couldn't stop.

Originally from Rome, Italy, Paola moved to the U.S. in 1969, then spent 22 years in Puerto Rico before returning to the States to join her daughter in St. Petersburg in 2017 after Hurricane Maria devastated the island.

The name Azucena Verde or Green Azucena derives from the wonderfully aromatic azucena flower prominent in Puerto Rico. The Green represents new endeavors and how life affords people the opportunity to constantly reinvent themselves.

About Janna Kennedy, multi-media artist
Florida-born, Brooklyn bred, Janna Kennedy brings her love of art and collecting together with her one-of-a-kind art assemblies using antique findings and her imagination. Janna began her career in art as an airbrush artist on the Florida Panhandle as a teen and moved to Brooklyn for a career in the fashion industry where she designed accessories for the Disney Stores and Parks. Janna currently calls the heavy arts-embedded city of St. Petersburgh, Florida her home.

With a passion to create art that is inspired by her surroundings, discoveries, and world events, Janna started her newly found multi-media art style with her unmistakable and over-the-top "3-D masks" which won her awards and notoriety in the art world of her local St. Petersburg, Florida.

• Her "At the Opera" mask won Best in Show at the Charlie Crist Mask Contest in May of 2020, with her mask purchased by none other than Bette Midler.
• Also in 2020, Janna's "Notorious RBG" Mask won Best in Show at the Viera Avant Garde Gallery mask contest.
• In the spring of 2021 Janna's 3-D Masks "Magritte" and "Van Gogh" were selected to be in the permanent collection of The NY Public Library in New York City.
