This 2017 Lolita Ranch Pinot Noir is rich, sumptuous, and forward, with plenty of Russian River intensity. It has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and aromas of blueberry compote, cranberry sauce, black cherry preserves, bitter root, moss covered bark, and peppercorn. It's a nice interplay of fruit and earth. Light to medium bodied it's broody and earthy in the mouth, with fine grainy tannins and good freshness to lift the blueberry tinged finish. Enjoy with beef, veal, game, or poultry.
