This 2017 Lolita Ranch Pinot Noir is rich, sumptuous, and forward, with plenty of Russian River intensity. It has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and aromas of blueberry compote, cranberry sauce, black cherry preserves, bitter root, moss covered bark, and peppercorn. It's a nice interplay of fruit and earth. Light to medium bodied it's broody and earthy in the mouth, with fine grainy tannins and good freshness to lift the blueberry tinged finish.
