I think these words can apply to those who support Catholic education. The gifts Catholic School donors so generously give provide an opportunity for so many students to experience the dedication and love of those who teach in Catholic Schools.

Families work hard to cover the cost of tuition because they value the faith filled quality academic formation their children receive in a Catholic school. A Catholic school education is truly an investment.

Many times, the donors don't know those whose lives are impacted by their generosity. They show their love for others and their commitment to Catholic Education by sharing what they have in order for others to become the person God wants them to be.

While giving financially to Catholic schools is one of the best ways to support Catholic education, we should never underestimate the power of prayer. At La Purisima Catholic School our mission is to foster the development of our students' spiritual, educational, social, and emotional well being. Our educational program is built on a foundation of faith where we strive to produce students with a moral compass steeped in their love for Christ and willingness to make the world a better place. Mission Basilica School participates in the continuous flow of history from the establishment of San Juan Capistrano Mission. Our students have the unique opportunity of being part of a history past, present, and in the making. We provide an environment where each student is given the opportunity to reach their greatest potential spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, socially, and globally. Education is of the utmost importance; through education and guidance, the children of today become the Catholic citizens of tomorrow.

Saint Anne School is located on the south side of Santa Ana. Our school has been in existence for over 70 years and has educated thousands of students. More than 86% of our students qualify for the 'Free and Reduced Lunch Program' of the Federal government. Most of our students are in need of financial support in order to cover the $5,000 tuition. Our teachers are dedicated, and some have been here over 20, 30 and even 40 years. Saint Anne School has also become a home for them as well as our students.

In order to offer a quality program that will benefit the whole child, we have an extensive music program which includes Band and Violin for Grades 5-8; Recorders for Grade 4; and a Mariachi Program for Grades 3-8 of which we have over 60 students participating. The Mariachi Program was begun this year so that our students, 97% of Mexican descent, will come to appreciate their cultural heritage and grow in self-esteem and confidence. This has been a huge success. Students have the option of learning the following instruments: Guiterrone, Vihuela, Guitar, Trumpet, and Violin. They can also be vocalists. They recently performed at the Cathedral for Bishop Vann's 10th Anniversary.

St. Catherine's Academy (SCA) is an all-boys' Catholic school with a military tradition which was founded by the Dominican Sisters from Mission San Jose in 1889. SCA's education rooted in a strong Catholic faith as well as its rich military tradition teaches boys discipline, responsibility, character, and leadership qualities that will benefit them and will prepare them for high school and beyond.

SCA raises funds every year for tuition assistance and scholarship programs for its students. Nearly 85% of students that attend St. Catherine's receive some amount of tuition assistance. The cost of education at SCA is higher than what the tuition and fee costs cover. Donations, grants and fundraisers cover the remaining costs.

With these funds, SCA can help supplement a student's education and provide a foundation for lifelong success.

Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School offers a unique child-centered TYKE - 8th Grade education. With a dedicated faculty, Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School students learn in faith-filled classrooms, receive instruction tailored to their needs, and are challenged in outstanding enrichment programs.

We are currently wanting to improve our outdated school library and turn it into a media center. This new media center would include modern books for students, comfortable seating to get lost in books, a newline screen to assist with presentations, and research stations for students to be able to gain a greater understanding of a subject of their interest.
